This page describes how artificial intelligence tools are used in producing LookerDress today.

How the content is produced

LookerDress is in active development. The articles on the site are drafted with AI assistance. A draft that has not been checked yet is marked as seed content in the site's records, and the production site cannot be built while any published record carries that mark.

Review before publication

Each AI-assisted draft is checked by the LookerDress writer and a second reviewer before it is published, and product facts are checked against the retailer's current product information.

Guardrails on AI-drafted copy

  • Automated content checks in the site's codebase flag copy that claims a hands-on trial, quotes a percentage (other than fabric composition) or gives a star rating.
  • Every article is credited by name to its author, Jenisha Jonchhe, and no byline names an invented person.
  • Products are labelled Editor-selected or Researched, which say how a product came onto the site and never that it was tried on: LookerDress never claims a fitting that did not take place.

Imagery

The photos in the articles brought over from the previous site are the owner's own. The header photos of the other articles and of the section pages are free photos used under the Unsplash License, each credited to its photographer on the page it heads. Product cards show Amazon's own product photos, loaded from Amazon's own servers. No placeholder images remain on the site.

Questions

The form on the contact page is not connected yet, and no other way to ask how a piece of content was produced has been set up yet.
